UnMonument by the Black Reconstruction Creatives (BRC)—a collective of Black architects across the U.S.—challenges the traditional notion of monuments as fixed, immovable structures.

Instead, UnMonument is designed to move—traveling across different states as a living, evolving expression of memory, resistance, and Black identity. It began in Chicago, and has since made its way to Brooklyn, Bellefonte, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.
