Thrive Exchange south shore is a project that elevates the standard of affordable housing in Chicago and nationwide. One of the problems we set out to solve when photographing this building was showing its relationship to transportation; the accessibility of the site from a major, high-traffic, multi-intersection road for those who drive, while also highlighting its proximity to the Metra train. We used a more artistic approach of photography through long exposures to depict this while making the photograph of the building.
